The month of January has been very exciting!
The month of January has been very exciting!  The first Sunday of the new year we were in Jacksonville, FL at Westside Baptist Church.  I believe this was our 3rd time to be with Pastor Keith Russell and the good people of Westside.  We had several people that came for salvation and more to become members of Westside.  The altar was full of Christians making commitments to start out 2010.  I appreciate the friendship of Pastor Keith Russell and this ministry.

The following Sunday and Monday, we were in Conover, NC with Pastor Joel Frye at Oxford Baptist Church.  This was our first time to be with this great church.  10 people came for salvation!  On Monday night, at our "Stand Up For America" event, the altar was packed with people burdened for America.  We were honored to have United States Congressman, Patrick McHenry (pictured), the mayor of Conover, 3 County Commissioners and other elected officials present.

The next Sunday & Monday we were in Ocala, FL with our good friends, Randy & Linda Brown and the wonderful people of Friendship Baptist Church.  They worked so diligently and had been praying for some time about this special 2 day meeting.  The building was full on Sunday morning and another good crowd on Sunday night.  However, on Monday evening they broke all of their church attendance records.  This church averages 125 on Sunday morning but on Monday night there were 362 in attendance!  Several government officials were present and there were many veterans there also. 48 people came for salvation including a Brigadier General retired from the Marine Corp!  The small church proves that there is no limit to what can be accomplished, if they don't mind God getting all the glory!!

On January 24 & 25 we were in South Carolina at Rice Memorial Baptist Church in Greenwood.  This was our first time to be with Pastor Alvin Hodges and this church.  What a church!  We had great crowds in both Sunday morning services and the auditorium was full again on Sunday & Monday night.  The Lord blessed in all 4 services in a special way with 56 people coming to Christ and again the altar was full with Christians getting right with God and becoming burdened for America.

It seems to me that people are hungry to see God move in these days!  Most Christians recognize that America is in a mess and something needs to happen and that something is real revival.  Keep praying, God is up to something special.
