I know many of our friends have been enduring some harsh winter months. Its even reached into Texas where we have had ice, sleet and snow. After three days of it Connie said she was so tired of it all and I reminded her of the poor people in Boston! We need to pray for those who are suffering most. Also just a reminder to pray for our Patriotic Partner family members on our prayer list. God not only hears but He answers prayer!
I have a great report to make concerning our meetings in the past month. We started out in Leesburg, Florida at South Pointe Baptist Church. This was our first time to be with Pastor David Miller and the people of South Pointe. In the first service 15 were saved and in the second service extra chairs were brought out and 61 were saved making a total of 75 who called on Jesus for salvation!
Sunday evening we drove to Ocala, Florida to be with long time friends and former employees of Tim Lee Ministries, Randy and Linda Brown at Friendship Baptist Church. Usually Friendship has about 60 people in attendance on Sunday evening however the pastor had challenged his people to bring visitors and they did. We had right at 200 in attendance on Super Bowl Sunday 14 people called on Jesus for salvation including 3 young couples! One of our Patriotic Partners was in the service. Debbie Quinn from Virginia was visiting family in Naples, Florida. She and her husband Tom have been faithful supporters of TLM for a long time. Tom, who served in the USMC went to heaven around a year ago. It was great to See Debbie!
On Saturday, February 7th, our Board of Directors for Tim Lee Ministries met in Beaufort, South Carolina for our annual board meeting. We have a great group of twelve men and women, pastors and businessmen who make up our board. They are tremendously important to this ministry. We were able to give updates on all aspects of our ministry and to receive input to help us move forward.
On Sunday, February 8th, we were back for our 7th event at MCRD Parris Island. On Sunday morning Marc Ivey and the worship team from Trinity Baptist in Jacksonville, Florida, led 3,000 Marine recruits in worship, singing songs like “God’s Not Dead.” I spoke and gave a public invitation and conservatively between 1,600-1,800 Marine recruits came to call upon the name of the Lord for salvation!! This is HUGE!! God is doing a great work on this base. We are scheduled to be back at Parris Island three more times this year, we have scheduled four times in 2016 and four more in 2017. We need your financial help and we need your prayers!!!
On Wednesday, February 11th, I spoke at the Mayors Prayer Breakfast in Norwalk, California. There were approximately 500 in attendance. I gave an opportunity for those in attendance to by faith call upon the name of Jesus for salvation and 53 people did just that! That evening I had the privilege to preach at Community Baptist Church in Norwalk for friend and TLM supporter, Pastor Tom Burns. God blessed and 3 people were saved!
The next Sunday, I preached for good friend and former TLM employee Pastor David Maulsby at Crossbridge Church in Houston, Texas. Crossbridge usually has 30 in attendance on Sunday morning. They had 100 on this day and 18 people were saved! Proves any church can do something if they are motivated to do it.
Sunday evening we went to another small country church, Pine Valley Baptist, outside New Waverly, Texas. Pastor Bob Hunt is celebrating twenty years as their pastor. This church is in the middle of nowhere but the building was packed Sunday evening and great crowds Tuesday and Wednesday. This small church supports our ministry monthly; every church can do something. Eleven people were saved and one young man was called to preach.
February 20-22, we were in Springfield, Missouri at Crossway Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Bumpers This is a great church that averages over 1,700 on Sunday morning. In the midst of a winter ice storm, 350 men showed up Friday evening and Saturday for the EQUIP mens conference! Thirteen men were saved and twenty-three men surrendered to preach the gospel!! On Sunday morning with about 2,000 in attendance, fifty-three people were saved and scores came for baptism and church membership.
In the midst of all the turmoil going on in the world I am grateful to give you a good report of what God has been doing at Tim Lee Ministries! You are a vital part of it all. THANK YOU!
